Preparing and executing communications plan to increase press coverage and audience engagement for the 85-year-old Festival.

Preparing and executing marketing plan to drive ticket sales. The first year my plan was in effect, sales rose 10%; the second year, 18%.

Supervising all box office activities.

Serving as primary writer for all marketing materials and oversee cohesive messaging for all institutional communications pieces.

Articulating the artistic vision of the Carmel Bach Festival, provide high-level strategic support, and create new media opportunities for visibility and presentation.

Overseeing production of the Festival’s program book and ticket brochures, including writing, art direction, copy editing, and serving as the primary liaison to designers and printers.

Managing and executing content development for the Festival’s social media channels.

Leading the Young Artists Showcase and Youth Chorale programs in partnership with their directors.

Developing, promoting, or coordinating education and engagement programs and outreach concerts.

Managing audience education and engagement activities, the audience concert experience, and supertitles. Developing schedule and personnel of pre-concert talks, and hosting open rehearsals and pre-concert talks.

Leading the Education-Engagement Advisory Board comprised of local educators. Expand the board to include other community leaders and organize biannual meetings.

Seeking and managing artistic alliances with other performing arts organizations on the Monterey Peninsula. Cultivate and grow relationships with the music teaching community. Broaden the reach of the Festival by becoming a resource for local music programs

Designing, coding and distributing nearly 300 eblasts per year. Average open rate—30%.

Serving as director of all public relations efforts in the renovation and reopening of Poppy Hills Golf Course, a $14 million project. Utilized extensive video production skills.

Creating and implementing marketing strategy and serving as the brand steward for the Association to ensure favorable brand awareness and reputation.
